Respect for tradition and a desire to experiment that is what you find in this product, which is made from pure barley malt grown in Ascona. It owes its amber colour, and vanilla and fruity scents, to the ageing of at least 12 years in old sherry and port casks.

Harmonious, sweetish nose, dried fruit, pear syrup, port and sherry notes, some honey, complemented by a fine oak spice, some vanilla, subtle malt. Pleasantly soft and mild on the palate, again sweet and dried fruit with a long, balanced finish.

Ageing For 12 years in ex-sherry and port wine barrels of 500 litres in the Cantina alla Maggia

Production Fermentation and distillation of the malt is carried out by the Locher brewery in Appenzell, subsequently matured in our cellar.
